Step 2: Finding the right location for a bed and breakfast - your home, the perfect property, or an existing B&B

Not every property can be used as a bed and breakfast - but there is no hard and fast rule that will provide you with the answers.  You will need to look at the property from several different aspects:
  • the size of the property
  • is the property zoned to allow a bed and breakfast?
  • what regulations and permits do you need to be able to open?
Doing your homework up front will save you a lot of time and money.
