I've read a lot of books - I mean a lot! And I never got from them what I've learned from you, Susan just in talking to you [in just two sessions]

After much thought, our discussion and working through these materials, I have decided that a B&B is not right for me. I appreciate your coaching, and am perfectly happy with your fee. I consider it money well-spent to avoid having made a decision that ultimately would not have been the right one for me.

I had been thinking about the idea of owning a bed and breakfast for over a year. When I found Susan's web site, I sat down and read every single page and did all the exercises she provided. After really thinking about everything she said, I realized that owning a B&B wouldn't meet my personal needs. I would totally recommend Susan - she has a wealth of information that people who are thinking of starting a bed and breakfast really need to know.

I attended Susan's Question & Answer Session, even though I have my bed and breakfast up for sale and am looking for new challenges. I found it an excellent session, filled with lots of great info and I would highly recommend it to someone looking to start out or expand their business. I received the clear impression that as a client of Susan's you'd be fully supported with a generous mentor and a kind and friendly soul to answer the myriad of questions that run through your mind as you start in this uniquely rewarding business.

This course was a real eye-opener! We have visited and talked to many bed and breakfast owners, but still had no idea of how owning a b&b would affect on our life. Now we know what the roadblocks may be, we have gone back to the drawing board to see how we can overcome the obstacles Susan helped us identify. She really does want us to be successful, and we look forward to having her by our side through the whole thing!

I really liked Susan’s course especially the checklists and the lists of questions to ask yourself. I liked that she included in worst case scenario's and what her solution to that problem was. You really don't think about that kind of stuff when you're planning to open a B&B. Having the cost breakdowns and information in there showed us exactly if we were going to make a profit on it or not.

I am finding some very useful advice on The B&B Coach’s blog “Recipes for Success”. I agree that no two B & Bs are the same and you have to look at everything in the context of your own particular location, size and resources, but a nudge in the right direction is always helpful. Susan has already given me some good ideas.

Over the past few years since I met Susan at local networking events, I always take the chance to "pick her brain". It seems that when we talk, great ideas just seem to flow - ideas that put money in our pockets. We often overlook opportunities and fail to sell everything that we offer and Susan has helped me time and time again by pointing that out.
